Meg's Employee Update on Immigration email

Have you received Meg's PC email she sent out about Trump's executive orders? What a friggin politician. It must hurt pretty bad that Hillary lost and she can't be a cabinet member.

Meggie AGAIN fails to realize why us Millenials went against the grain when stating that "Chickens came home to roost"

Yes. Chickens came home to roost. Not because of your statement at the World Economic Forum "It's up to leaders in this room, particularly in the technology field, to think 'How do we help manage the transition of people who have been disrupted by... — read more

Layoffs in Fort Collins

Word is that layoffs are now determined by current revenue. No assumption of growth. Layoffs in Software as well as areas that are part of the future HPE.

Your 2017 HPE vacation - what impacts with newco?

So, we started 2017 with our vacation re-charged with 3, 4, or 5 weeks vacation. Come 1 April, do you think that newco with let you keep all of that to be consumed by 31 December (regardless of newco's fiscal year)? I don't know. Seems unlikely... — read more

It will get worse.

You may have noticed that 1) Meg was not invited to Trump Tower for discussions. 2) Meg supported Hillary. You can bet HP/HPE/NewCo will not be receiving government business or government renewals. You can also bet that any American businesses are... — read more

Next one to go

Class of March 2016 here... I had a scheduled 1x1 on a Thursday which was moved to the following Monday morning (the invite was changed 2 weeks prior, which means mgr knew for 2 weeks). The week before I was laid off, 2 other people were WFRd and mgr... — read more

WFR Schedule

WFR started as a quarterly event, but has been consistently on a monthly tick for the past year or so. Justified as reductions for the HP/HPE split, ES spin off, Software divestiture, or whatever Meg dreams up this month. Whatever it takes to move... — read more

What does your typical day look like?

A couple of weeks ago, I posted about not being given enough at work. Everyone else around me seems like they are swamped with work and way too busy. Boredom is killing me but my manager doesn't have any more work for me. So, I try to look busy. I... — read more

Laid off Two Months Ago

I was WFR'd approximately 2 months ago. Severance is 60 days pay (on target incentive) and at the end of 60 days you have to sign a form that basically makes it impossible for HPE to ever hire you back again. For signing the form and returning it... — read more

So ridiculous... Help me understand why...

What the heck is going on at HPE? This is unacceptable... You better watch out and keep your eyes and ears wide open.

Civil Rights / Employment Discrimination Lawsuits

I was just taking a gander at an unrelated class-action lawsuit in pacermonitor.com, and decided to search for Hewlett Packard Enterprise. HPE has quite a few discrimination lawsuits on their hands. Looks like most of the plaintiffs come from the... — read more
