Safest department

Rumors of layoffs make me very anxious. I'm preparing anyway, although I refuse to believe that the rumored layoffs will be so big. Do you think there are some departments that are safer than others?

We have an email distribution error and it went to firm wide by mistake and people are mad when replying all asking for removal. Seeing them being so mad on such trivial thing is really cute :)

What’s it like working at Chase mortgage?

Good opportunity or no? Comp plan is pretty low (basis points). Good money to be had there? Can you do high production? Or is mostly chasing down branch leads like a quasi call center job?
