I’ve been eyeing a new role that feels like a better fit, but I’m torn. With RTO happening and likely layoffs coming next, I’m not sure if jumping ship right now might hurt me. I’m probably overthinking it, but I’m curious, has anyone switched teams... — read more
Compensation Review with Manager for 2024
I was hired in late March 2024 as VP and had my first year end compensation review this week but was told that my salary will remain the same, only receiving a bonus. Is this normal at JPMC and if so why didn't I get a salary increase as well?
RTO now, Layoffs next
We are all in trouble.
Not too many remote jobs available
I was looking over the weekend, and things are not looking good. There are available jobs, but the overwhelming majority of them are not remote. I was determined to walk away as soon as RTO was announced, but now I'm not so sure that I'll be able to... — read more
JPMC RTO - Existing Remote employees
I’m curious about those who are remote, live within an hour of an office and negotiated WFH in their contract. I know they get renewed every year. Is Papa Jamie enforcing this too?

Single good thing about RTO
At least for those of us who can actually do the commute, will be having actual office hours. I’m going to be very, very diligent about doing the bare minimum and ensuring I leave the office when the hours end - not staying a minute longer. Bye to... — read more

Forced Nutrition
This is most likely a cost cutting measure. They are hoping people leave on their own accord so they don’t have to pay severance. I guess Dimon is also old school so that factor into too.
