Keep hearing rumors about working from home on Mondays getting approved. Anyone have any updates?

@g1 speak for yourself. try to sit in traffic for 2+ hours a day and still get in 10 hours of work.
Yea I wish that I got laid off and didn't have a life so I could troll the layoff site of the company who threw me out like a trash bag and pretend to have made the decision myself. that would be kewell uh huh huh

The only people that must be in office 4 days per week are USA and posssbily ABU. The MSP's, Manila, Buenos Aaires, and the Engine are only in office 2 days per week.

I desperately need to get back home on Mondays because that is my sleep day after the weekend. I am totally useless in the office on Mondays so I have no idea why they are pushing this. Nothing gets done. We should all be where we belong like after Covid, sleeping off the weekend while still collecting a paycheck.
I have walked many floor various days of the week. I can tell you while a few floors seemed really packed most feel like ghost towns. Yet plenty of people at lunch and Starbucks. Something doesn't add up
It was great a few months back when HR decided to clarify on a global IT town hall that full RTO was not happening yet due to labor market trends at our centers of excellence. So all the cheap labor off shore replacing us doesn't even have to play by the same rules. Remember "Better together, in person."
Never happen in ABU too many managers and supervisors need to be face to face meetings talking to people who work to justify their existence.

It’s happening for offshore asset class - since such are large percentage are from India; and India get to wfh 3x days a week

Yea FFH… like everyone that walks aimlessly around the halls or sits in the cafe for hours in the office. Thats where the real productivity is.

I sure hope they do because I really really miss being able to F-off from Home (FFH) instead of having to come in and actually work. Fingers crossed!
