You spent years saying the market owes nobody a damn thing. Now that the market is coming for your job, suddenly you want sympathy, protection, and someone to blame.
Your job is your responsibility. Nobody guaranteed you employment—not the government, not your employer, and not the people you think should somehow subsidize your lifestyle. Your responsibility is to figure out how to pay the mortgage, feed your family, and keep yourself employable.
Companies don’t exist to provide you with a career. They exist to make money. If outsourcing or automation lets them get the same work done cheaper, they’re going to do it. That isn’t a personal betrayal. That’s capitalism.
And spare me the “we’re highly skilled and innovative” routine. If you were truly as indispensable as you claim, you’d have options. You’d be taking your talents somewhere else and demanding a bigger paycheck. The fact that you’re terrified of being replaced suggests your skills may not be nearly as valuable as you thought.
There are millions of people willing to learn, work harder, and do the job for less. The market doesn’t care how long you’ve been comfortable.
So stop whining about fairness and start making yourself useful. Learn a new skill. Become harder to replace. Build something. Adapt.
Because nobody owes you your current job—and if you’re counting on that job being there forever, you’re not being loyal. You’re being naive.

Lots of you guys dump daily on conservatives but you’re seeing what the unrealistic happy go lucky “we’re all in this together” lefty mindset gets you…these people aren’t your friends, they’re invaders, they’re a different culture, they’re the opposition.
The economy is zero sum, despite what they want you to believe, there isn’t enough for everyone to win, and with ai the well paying jobs will be few and far between…it’s time to stand up and be realistic, be pragmatic, and fight back.

US Telcos and US MVNOs should offer US-based support Mobile Service Plans. BOYCOTT US Telcos and US MVNOs that outsource/offshore.
ALL should adopt Artificial Intelligence to lower operating cost to lessen/eliminate outsourcing - NOT ROCKET SCIENCE.
Only way this can be resolved is if there is consistently a lot of security breaches that cost a lot of money to the organization.
I guess in that sense we need to let them outsource more and more and increase the chance that it blows up in their face.
