Any PL's get let go today? I noticed a few in my dept were offline today. My PL logged off aroud 9am and never got back on. I hope not, because I really enjoy working under them. If a PL was let go, it wouldn't be immediate, would it?

PL (manager) in BTS was RIF’d for 9/4 been away since yesterday.
@OP The people I know who were laid off had the option to log off for the day to process the news. They should have received an end date that wasn't immediate, depending on how high up the chain they are.

I am a PL and was let go. They told me to log off for the day.
They normally give them the rest of the day off
@OP most likely that is what occurred same happened in my department. They (PL) had a meeting about 9ish and were informed everyone is being terminated and most logged off the day. We (subordinates) were supposed to be notified tomorrow but my higher up (VP) decided to get it over with today by the end of my shift they let me know my position is being eliminated.
