Is there any way to appeal it?

I don't want to back out, I have seen some comments stating they could appeal. I would like an earlier date but it is what it is. Getting overwhelmed and exhausted.

Each situation is different so you would have to ask but I would suspect that your work relationship would be tainted after that.
Was it only VSP in 2027 told they could they could back out. Just curious that has not been shared with anyone on my team.
I was told that they can’t make any changes, my date is May 2027. I wanted an earlier day, my PL reached to our HRBP to see if there’s anything can be changed. I’ll follow up back to see if they move the separation dates.
Sounds like you want the exit date amended ... probably to a date in 2026? Maybe based on this: "If approved, your separation date is assumed to be around September 1, 2026. Your separation date may change due to business needs."
Based on that, most people would think their exit date is in September 2026 or possibly sooner. This was sent on June 17. People didn't apply, assuming an exit in 2027. My exit date is 11/2027.
I doubt there is any legal action that can be taken, but I don't know that. Keep us updated if you pursue it.
@bp Someone over me said that I could appeal the whole thing if I wanted to but I don't feel comfortable doing so. It's bad enough that I have to wait so long to get the VSP if I can make it that far. I just hope that by not appealing it, I'm not putting a target on my back.
Are you trying to appeal the separation date or the entire package in general?
Contact HR, maybe you will get RIFd instead. Not sure what your goal is…
@OP we were told we can back out of our VSP.
@OP Why would you appeal it? You either voluntarily took it or you didn't. Everything that you needed to know about the VSP was right there you just had to read it very carefully.
