Did Centene ever re-hire the people they fired for not getting the jab like the military did? If so…..NO THANKS, we learned that our life is way better off without working for Centene.

This is such a crazy , stupid conversation. Who cares now who the selfish people are that we’re fine putting other people in jeopardy?
I think by now that it is fairly obvious to all that the operators from the owner of this “TheLayoff.com” website have begun to taking over inserting their own posted commentary. Whether they are now being paid oaid by the very corporations we are complaining about, or they are upset because we are now seeking to identify who is behind the current of this website and are lashing out, or they have some AI algorithms that are simply making automated responses, I do not know.
I guess it was up to department heads if they wanted to fire ppl that did not get vaccinated. Interesting.

Thats a lie….many ppl on my member facing team did not get the vaccine and still here today.

Its 2024 proxy reported $3.9 million in 2023 revenue from the customer associated with Layton’s former executive roles. This establishes a paid business relationship.
Kenneth “Ken” Burdick Executive Vice President of Markets and Products; previously WellCare CEO, LifeStance Health, Chairman; previously CEO and then Executive Chairman and recently resigned from the board to expect to see him replace London.
Centene’s 2026 proxy statement confirms payments to LifeStance during 2025 for behavioral health services under contracts between the companies. Centene states those contracts predated Burdick’s employment at LifeStance and were negotiated at arm’s length. This is a healthcare-provider relationship rather than a conventional consulting vendor arrangement.

Long time employee here. I know of 2 people from my team at the time who were fired for not getting the jab. That su-ked!

@a1 It was back in 2021 or 2022. They made it a requirement, but quietly pulled that requirement in 2023ish.

I wasn't aware that Centene fired anyone for not receiving the shot. Several ppl in my dept did not get the shot, including myself and we're all still working here at Centene.
