@d4 yep. Someone should challenge them on this. But no one ever has. I bet there is a judge who would see this the way you do, too.

It’s not deferred compensation. Intent of RSU is to retain you and keep pressure on you for maximum effort. If you stop performing you get PIP’d and they keep their incentive pay.

Seems wild that you earn something for you performance but then for the next 7 years if they decide your performance is bad they can take it away!

Unless you are retirement eligible you will 100% lose anything unvested Thats the point of all of this

You will not get any new RSU awards but past ones will vest on schedule.

Are you retirement elegible? If so, they wont take your RSU away, unless you commit an irregularity or go work for a competitor.
If you are not RE, they will cancel the unvested RSUs if you resign or let go.

RSUs are a f*rt in the wind until they actually vest and hit your account. You won't see a penny of that if you are let go.
