Probable date

The date has to be Monday 24th of Aug. That’s 60 days before October 23.

October 23 is the final RSU payout for any RSUs this year. Other 3 dates are in September: 15,19,20.

I think this is sound reasoning.

RSUs

I’ll be getting RSUs this year for the first time. Are the RSUs based on a maximum dollar amount of your CL and ranking or is it a set number of shares no matter what the stock price is? I.e you get 20 shares at $100 and still 20 shares at $150 stock price.

“Sustainment Awards”

L3Harris Technologies approved special one-time equity Sustainment Awards for three senior executives, with target grant date values of $10,000,000 each for Kenneth Bedingfield and Samir Mehta and $5,000,000 for CFO Kenneth Sharp. The awards will be granted on August 3, 2026 under the 2024 Equity Incentive Plan as 50% performance share units (PSUs) and 50% restricted stock units (RSUs).

CEO - It's a video game

I see the agony on this site. Many of you are uncertain about your future.

I just want to share with you. In a team call, CEO said a couple of years ago. “I love it. It’s like playing a video game, haha haha” It was in the context of managing
the business and reorganizing people. I know many of you probably we on the call. It’s really sad, but it’s the reality of the tech business. I never expected to hear from a CEO.
But, he really is transparent. Enjoys the RSUs. It all fun and video games.

4th July 🇺🇸

If I bet my life on anything, it’s American Exceptionalism rooted in integrity, excellence, and courage.
Working alongside our global teams has only reinforced it: no other country comes close.

Yet stepping back, it’s clear how offshoring and outsourcing to low-cost, low-capability paired with unchecked onshore importing,
has frayed the very fabric of this nation.

These are people who haven’t invented or dominated in any meaningful field beyond cheap IT services.
What the he-l are we doing?
These jobs belong to American workers.
Have we done nearly enough to build the skills of those in weaker economic corners? There are proven ways to give back: rigorous education, hands-on training, community engagement . Lift them into the middle class and show them how capitalism actually works: through merit, productivity, and upward mobility.
Instead, too many short-sighted, narcissistic managers chase RSU windfalls by flooding teams with cheap bodies, piling up technical debt and hollowing out our edge.
Enough. Everyone must do their part, whatever it takes. No excuses. . It’s now or never.

Stack rankings requested + Meets Expectations and below being pushed down

Message from my M5 NA squash friend is that they will be pushing lower rankings to all in reviews and employees will be stack ranked. There will be reviews across each GBUs. M5 suspects another round of cuts coming. For those with manager hate here - cuts will also be coming in for M level. The initial step per M5 was getting those with few reports to IC in FY 26. Many long term managers are understandably struggling in IC roles so cutting them on performance criteria in FY 27 will create no legal issues. Exact timeline not clear at the moment per M5 and he said he is prepping to be let go and hopes he at least lasts untill his RSUs/options vest. The RSU/options vest at M5 NA are 500K-1M - WOW - I don't think it was a lie. My Senior Developer RSU is 7.5 percent of that like WTF.

Oracle - Grieving millionaires feeling betrayed?

Stop crying about being laid off. You have spent 20, 30, 25 years and feel betrayed. Enjoy the millions in the 401K and move on. Pathetic.

I spent 15 years at Oracle and was laid off a few years ago. I worked with many of the people who were recently let go. You are talented, highly intelligent, and among the company's top performers.

The reality is that tech companies eventually reach a point where they can no longer justify paying top dollar, top bonuses, and large RSU packages to the same employees year after year, regardless of performance. Many of you have earned substantial compensation and built successful careers.

Being laid off is never easy, but at some point it's important to move forward rather than seek sympathy. Take pride in what you've accomplished, leverage your experience, and focus on the next opportunities.

Whoa ... My RSUs were canceled after the garden leave ended

RIF employee here and my separation agreement contradicts what SNPS had Etrade do with all non-vested RSUs.

All of my 2023 and 2024 RSUs that were awarded during that period should have been fully vested right away. The 2025 RSUs should be fully vested all the ones that would have vested in the next 12 months from the terminate date.

They canceled all of them.

Calling SNPS stock services right now so everyone affected by the RIF should check their etrade account.

Advice for folks still employed at Cisco

Cisco is a pump and dump for Chuck and the board. Cisco doesn't innovate anymore, it just buys other companies, slaps the Cisco logo on it, and calls it macaroni. The ONLY way Cisco can boost the stock price is by (A) laying off employees or (B) Buying something. But it's short term ..the stock goes up for a bit , levels off and comes back down. If you have or get RSU, (more like IOU) it's a carrot on a stick. When they lay you off you lose any unvested stock. Start looking for jobs but if your in good financial shape, hold on as long as possible until your RSUs vest. The layoffs will pick up the pace, export more within 6 months. DON'T VOLUNTEER ANY AUTOMATION IDEAS! Your sc--wing your co-workers over. Make yourself as indispensable as possible by taking on as much work as possible (especially if your customer billable). If you work in Collab/WebEx ..time to change technology path...learn SDWAN or Security.

Stock based layoffs

Did we notice a pattern here in all tech layoffs ? lot of 1-3 year experienced who got joining stocks or stocks at executive range are thrown out. Same happened with Oracle and now with Meta.
We all know Oracle was faking around the hikes and promotions with just 2 words: Longevity and Stocks. Both are gone now.

What happens to RSUs?

Can anyone elaborate on what happens with RSU's if you are currently getting package? I'm looking for specifics (in advance of next round) so I can plan accordingly. I'm assuming you just get the 60 days on payroll to vest but hoping they may forward vest some. Retirement eligible may be a variable also.

Thanks in advance. Good luck to all.

Another $1.5 million down the drain

We have no money for you it belongs to the Execs.

DXC Technology reported that EVP, CES Venkataraman Ramanathan received an equity grant in the form of restricted stock units. The award covers 158,155 shares of common stock, granted at no cash cost per share as part of compensation.

Each RSU converts into one share of common stock when it vests. The RSUs are scheduled to vest in three equal annual installments beginning May 12, 2027, spreading the benefit over several years. After this award, Ramanathan holds a total of 244,935 shares of common stock, including unvested RSUs.

Quarterly RSU Vesting proposal

It doesn’t matter to who are already let go, but it matters a lot to who are there absorbing heavy workload and on call’s. Leadership can take some more stupid decision on AI data center expansion and betting on OpenAI. As you all know OCI is outdated and old fashioned cloud it can never win cloud race.
Oracle will again do layoffs for employees who has RSU vesting in upcoming quarter. Please create public pressure and sign petition and change RSU vesting to quarterly.

What are the chances I will be let go soon after giving 30 days notice?

As a VP, I am required to give 30 days notice to keep RSU and be eligible for rehire. I currently work in controls (second line of defense) but will be joining another competitor bank as an WIM client Advisor.
The last thing I need is ~30 days of no pay due to being let go by WF soon after giving my 30 days notice. What are the chances I will be let go soon after giving 30 days notice?
