Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Why are there so many Teams meetings? Seems most mangers, no matter LOB, spend over half the day on them.

Despite the Hudson Yards gaslighting, most people work across virtual teams and not with people in their building. So, any meeting is more likely to require Teams vs grabbing a room as there's usually one or more person in another city/country.

This is how we know that that the justification for RTO supporting in-person collaboration doesn't have any legs.

In defense of the managers, Shart has centralized all real authority, so no one has agency to do much managing anyway. We're waiting for the golden ticket, same as you.

"This meeting could have been an email".
Remember that phrase.

@OP Don't forget to put "managers" in quotation marks. The only thing the "manage" is getting their noses up their bosses' anuses.

I’m not a manager and I spend over half my day in meetings.
