After you're laid off?

@ac the same day
@ac Told on Monday. Last day Friday
@a1 so then that’s not really an elimination of a position but a way to eliminate you and replace you.
@bq So when your position is ‘eliminated !’ Yet not really and someone is out in your spot it’s not really eliminated is it ?
I was laid off in mid-March with a three-week notice, so my last day was in April.
@ac my "position was eliminated" in June. I was the only person who did what I did for the department. I was told it was effective immediately so I logged off and never looked back. Yes, I was given a very generous severance package.
Centene recruited my 3 year old to run security while I clear my home office desk.
Centene employees are fully remote. C-suite may be the exception.
It depends on the role and what your leaders prefer.
Let's flip the tables. Show of hands here from the those laid off...did Centene have the courtesy to give you two weeks notice or did they have you leave same day?
over 90% of Centene employees work remotely. Unless they come to your house and escort you out.....i dont think there is a need for concern
@a2 humiliation ritual at its best.
@a1 LOL. Well I work remote. They want to keep you a few days to torture you some more and erode your self esteem so you just want to die so they won’t have to pay you anymore at all.
No, they expect you to train the next slave a little.
