@1ak I think you’re spot on with a lot of what you say.

I think the hope is that they can keep the lights on long enough that a large enough deal, like SpaceX or more ACP-like subsidies, will come along, that they can keep rolling.

Who know if it will. Things feel iffy now but I’d say May felt worse.

@OP The stock will continue to tank. Charter sells services to customers, video, telephone and internet. Those customers are leaving, so is the revenue so the company will continue to shrink and the stock price will continue to drop. What's not dropping is the debt load. Charter owes almost a 100 billion and the market cap is down to 19 billion. Not sure what id--ts are still buying the stock. Oh wait, probably Charter, like they did when it was in what the 300 or 400 range? Genius. Why does Winfrey still have a job?

I feel bad for the Cox employees (non field employees) who will immediately get dropped once the merger is done. At least their owner made it out.

Gonna be extremely hard to stop the subscriber losses- which in turn will result in lower revenues….the only answer will be to keep cutting expenses, one of the largest which is headcount. It’s not over yet….

@OP This is not good. More layoffs have been happening in other areas this week.

@OP The time is coming for executive leadership to begin paying the price for poor execution of the DAA strategy and the company’s FWA counter attack (or lack of it), among other things. If ops and NOCs are paying a price, so should some execs.
