Will there be more layoffs the rest of the week or was that it for now?

Some parts of Medicaid IL had a meeting today to inform them that there had been eliminations, those people were already notified earlier in the week though.
@cd yes I agree. I was laid off effective 8/14 last day 9/4 with a small severance. People left better be running and not feeling lucky but they believe the lies so good luck to all. I’m glad to be out. Wishing I had taken vsp to have avoided the call. That was the worst handling of this situation
08/12 was the last day for this round. Some were given a last day of 09/04, some were laid off effective immediately, some were on LOA and received a call from their supervisors stating not to come back.
The next round is to occur either before the OEP and/or after the OEP, before Christmas.
If you were no laid off. You have about two months to look for another job. Good luck and hope this helps!

I understand layoffs were started this week. I haven’t heard from anyone in California? Did I miss something or is California tomorrow?

@OP they are done with the ki-ling for now. Gotta bury the bodies. Soon want more the psychos. I heard October ? We all clear out 9/4. Physically and mentally and financially so they can see what’s left to go. My advice. I was told not to worry about it we were safe so I would run like he-l.

Don't think you're safe because you weren't laid off. After the restructuring is done they'll weed out more people.

Lots more coming. The ones that are still there will be competing with each other until they are also replaced by Indian reps and their rosters in the background.
