@a4 Ive noticed a big uptick in weirder posts the last week and assume they’re all the same person, the one who posted the other day about how Neidorff founded the company.

@ab disagree. Centene does a lot of hiring within. Now for these top executive roles and to navigate healthcare in this changing political climate, new and fresh ideas are needed from outside.
I think it’s more interesting that both C suites hired this month are external hires. Start promoting from within!
@a6 exactly lets see what he will do, but going off he doesnt have healthcare experience is pointless. Not all 58k or however much is left, of centene’s employees have or had healthcare experience- many roles support the healthcare functions but are not direct healthcare driven.
I agree that you don’t need healthcare experience to be a great CIO. I’ve worked with Centene IT for 20 years and 99% of the issues I work on and solve are not healthcare related. Now whether Brad will be a good fit is an open question.
At this point some of you are just commenting to hear urselves talk and complain. Seriously, what does a CIO do?
“ CIO) is a high-ranking executive who leads an organization's information technology (IT) strategy, infrastructure, and digital operations.” now look at Brad Bolivar’s background - don’t know the man from a can of paint but his experience matches this role. A ClO doesnt need healthcare experience, they need IT, business acumen.
They don't think. People look good on paper and then come in, do a terrible job and then move on to another company.
