Why does Dell insist on laying off good employees, but keeping incompetent leaders? Can someone please explain that? It makes no sense.
Some of these leaders, especially in ISG, have no background or experience in the very discipline they are managing. They have no idea what they're doing. They fail at everything they touch. Yet somehow, they are safe while their hard-working employees are let go.
What is it? Nepotism? Favoritism? DEI? Or is it just the simple fact that our executive leaders are also clueless and have no idea about how incompetent these clowns (Directors, VPs, SVPs) really are?
One big reason why Dell is failing is there has never been any accountability at the leadership level. They fail, then they spin up a new project, then they fail again. Rinse and repeat. Dell is in a downward death spiral because of it.
