By taking out 1 H1B, you take out the H1B spouse.

BUY 1, TAKE 2 !!!

I suspect the answer for whether we need H-1Bs lays somewhere in the middle between 1) no need at all and 2) no American wants to do tough farm work.

Either way, this Trump plan is just cruel which is not at all surprising.

Note to Mr. Nebraska - funny how you seemed to have correlated “American worker” (which was the subject of the reply) with “white people”. It wasn’t a typo and it’s rather telling (and foundational to many of Trumps plans). Of course you’ll deflect and call me a libt@rd or throw out some other bs to mask your real views.

@bd , total hogwash. I grew up on a farm & we worked from “can to can’t”. It was hard, honest work that built character.

@bd "thing is americans don't like farm work"

That should not matter. If you are healthy and need money, you should work the job you can get, not live off the rest of us. I have done jobs I did not like until I found a job I did like.

@bd FAKE news. I grew in Nebraska, more white people did farm and ranch work than any other race. You just buy into an old myth. You know zero about farming.

They were not suppose to be here to saturate this layer of the job market. They worked the loop hole for all it was worth. They are guests that are being shown the door, the thick ones cant see the writing on the wall. This country has over 105 MILLION guests and illegals, finally the executive branch is doing something about it, all be it WAY to late and almost futile at this point.

Well, the real surprise would be if it affects existing H1-Bs or in their upcoming renewals, but they won't do that I think.

There is absolutely no need for the H1B visa program at all. All jobs could be filled by U.S. citizens.
