@a8 the company is undoubtedly undervalued, but nobody has any faith in the clowns running the show. They did the right thing by declining the insulting offer, but when they did so and no better offer came, everyone ran for the Hills. They know it's the same bumbling id--ts still running the show, and there's zero Faith they'll actually be able to pull off much of a turnaround. I actually dumped my shares after years of holding.
@a7 paypal isnt a struggling business. They didnt sell at 60 because they know its worth more. Even if the shares drop to 40, its a strong business. Also, shareholders get to vote on whether they accept the offer. I cant imagine many if any would want to sell at that price.
I think there is a reason why Stripe walked. Everyone said the bid was a lowball offer but the company is much cheaper now and nobody is buying. Soon all these laid off will dump their shares. The stock is going to low $40’s. They will be begging for a buyout at $60/share by January 2027.
We’re a clown show 🤡. Between layoffs, botched buyouts, underperforming business units, the company is a joke.
Brutal
I would imagine Enrique will get fired in the next 6 months so we will see who’s next. Until then I would expect a slow bleed on price.
Might go up when the news gets word on layoffs
Stripe took a look under the hood and bolted. They won’t even buy the stock in the low $50’s 😂. We will be back in the low $40’s by the end of September. Enrique has no turnaround plan.
