@a9 Mentioning the VZ board in a positive manner will not gain a lot of support. The VZ board are responsible for hiring the previous CEO. And this is after he almost destroyed the top wireless equipment manufacturer in the world. Following the stellar performance while CEO for Ericsson the VZ board decides this is the exact type of person that we have been waiting to lead VZ. This leadership has damaged VZ so much that it will never be the same. Along with investigations into bribes resulting in approximately $1B in fines. The turn around mentioned is all fluff and do not believe any of the book cooking bs that VZ is spooning out as appetizers. The new CEO the board selected is going to lay off as many employees as possible. The majority of the knowledge base has already been taken to the door and kicked out and this guy must show how to run a company in the correct manner. While the CEO of PayPal, people refer to he growth. This growth due to online shopping because that was the only method to purchase. A donkey could have been the CEO. Covid ends and the financial targets are no longer being met. The axe is about to fall on the CEO, so he retires before he is fired.

I don’t know about the consulting group, but I mean Verizon is a very large ship it takes time to change course. The board sees positive changes in the company books, and if that means we are righting this ship and more people can stay on board, then that’s positive. Su-ks for the people we had to let go obviously but I don’t want to see anyone else lose their jobs, there’s tough decisions being made. For the people who will remain and stay employed and happy, then I wish them the best.
