7/10 employees recommend FIS

Managers in FIS India tell their employees that Glint survey is not anonymous.
Be careful what you write.

It is anonymous to a degree. As a manager, I can see what my employees filled out but not their name but when you have a small department, it's pretty easy to figure out who wrote what.

So . . . “for the love of God please include me in an upcoming RIF” wasn’t an appropriate answer on the glint survey?

Spot on and I've lived it. My manager caught some honest feedback, and ever since it's been payback on repeat. WFH? Yanked. Promotion? Dead on arrival. Raise? 'Budget's tight this year.' Meanwhile I'm frozen out of my own team and my work gets talked down behind my back.

Same tired playbook every time:
Go after the person who spoke up instead of fixing the problem.
Choke off growth and recognition so the favorites keep shining.
Freeze them out until they feel powerless.
Rewrite the story so their contributions never happened.

That's not leadership — that's a grudge with a title. When managers get to punish feedback with zero consequences, the message is loud and clear: honesty gets you smoked, kissing up gets you promoted and then leadership wonders why nobody trusts a word they say.. it's just a trap

@d4 Cognizant is only a job until I find something else. My area has lost so many people (both sent to Cognizant and given a final day at FIS) that workload for those of us remaining is untenable. The offshore resources can’t learn a product or conversion process in three months, so once September 1st hits, the few of us remaining rebadged are f’d. Conversion projects will be all offshore resources, and I foresee being asked/forced to work multiple weekends in a row.

I worked 27 days in July due to weekend conversions needing coverage. Premium Pay for weekend work has not been paid to anyone since we rebadged back in April.

Additionally, FIS didn’t do a good job of hiding that our contract with FIS only goes through March 2027. So likely only have a few months left before we are all fired and given little, if any, severance since we are treated as new hires. The only shining light is that our vacation this year and next continues to accrue as though we were still at FIS. In 2028, anyone still at Cognizant accrues vacation as a newly hired Cognizant employee.

@a9 how is cognizant so far for you? Do you get to keep the same years of service for benefits when you move to that company? Keep the same salary or not? Not sure which one is better- cognizant or severance package

I was brutally honest. If they can’t handle the truth, don’t ask. At the end of the day, this place is a mess. Full stop.

I would suggest if you aren't going to be honest, don't complete the survey.

No longer an FIS employee (Cognizant for now) but think about it. Each employee gets a unique URL to complete the survey and they really like to highlight the “this is totally anonymous” with it.

If FIS says one thing, your best bet is believing the exact opposite.

That's true. I wrote against my manager and he told me exactly what I wrote. I was completely surprised by it.
