Centene corp pulled a bait and swith with those that applied and VSP accepted. Majority of separation dates are set for next year 2027. When applying separation date was set on or around September 1st. Now that we applied we cannot cancel and face possible lay off, leave on our own or worse fired without the enhanced benefits. Centene trying to save as much cash as possible. Any one else who applied feel the bait and switch??

@OP totally and also the 11th hour email from the chief people officer stating the VSP was for those who are looking to leave and those who are not we suggest you withdraw and now we can be laid off without anything total bait and switch
@aa some people who withdrew were emailed yesterday that they were being RIF instead ... I don't think there is any way to win here. Either take the vsp and hope they don't can you before the ridiculous exit date, wait to be laid off with a severance or just quit before you get fired for under preforming. The goal is to have the majority of the work to be done by AI in the next few years so no matter what your job is not safe. It's just a matter of when. May as well call some of the shots and decide when to take your exit.

You can withdrawal your VSP.
Email Julie Carew and let her know since your separation date is pushed into late 2027, you want to withdrawal!

AGREED! It’s horrible to keep the ones who accepted the VSP we obviously want out! I am on the other side closer to a possible retirement would have liked to have made it 4 more years, but it’s not happening. I have a late 2027 date but gladly would have taken it now to save someone younger who REALLY needs their job! It’s disgusting how things are playing out.
