You can't fix stupid as you can see on these posts. But benefited from liberal policies and when those go away you have seen the results. One other thing in trumps first term his not worth declined for those that are not informed.

@ej Well the border crisis isn't imaginary. The situation isn't an Either/Or scenario. It's both. And most people in the U.S. on H1B visa's are (illegally)abusing the policy. For instance, they should have to leave the country if their employment ends, not allowed to hang around and compete with laid off U.S. workers for a open jobs.
@ay and YET....there is a large continency of Americans who think the people out working in the fields and are here illegally are the ones taking their jobs!
PEOPLE --these bazilliondollar companies have NO penalty for offshoring every last effing job. And they will continue to do so while our gaze is shifted the other way towards an imaginary border crisis.

@cp The front line marketing staff have been gutted to the bare minimum. They are putting bandages on what they can and chruning out AI slop as directed, but that is the fault of leadership.
@c4 OI Marketing is amateur hour. Did you attend the "Brand" presentations recently where people on the call point out all the brand violations in the deck. The group turns out nothing but sloppy, unoriginal garbage. No leadership. Dead end for everyone. But lots of self-applause for using AI to write all the emails.
Optum OI marketing had a huge reduction and shifting roles to India.

@ap Optum Marketing is moving most jobs to India, etc. and automating the rest. There is no future for anyone in Marketing at Optum. There is no interest in client intimacy, compelling creative or market differentiation. The new guy is a phony pr--k to boot.
Clinical Value Creation just cut me and one other person. December would have been my 20th year at optum.

I just got laid off provider install. One on one call. I know they laid off another co worker.
A company that exclusively does business in the United States gets rid of its U.S.-based workforce in favor of India and an Indian workforce. Unreal. It is my sincere hope that HR departments across the country stop including UnitedHealthcare as part of their benefit packages.

Layoffs in OI Marketing - meetings happening now
We just had a quick meeting too it’s happening in our department as well!
Random team meeting scheduled with 15 minutes notice. One of our team members was let go.
I have a random meeting invite for 12:30 noon today that I wasn’t expecting. I am sick to my stomach.
I will never tell - but if I am RIF'd, I'm putting fish in the microwave
