If any of us is still under an assumption that Wells Fargo care, hear this out about my peer.
My peer got pre noticed on the second week after coming back from a medical leave. This person received back to back exceeds on year end reviews. Was a top performer and always worked hard.
Manager had to cut down the team size and chose one of the top performers.
Just do what’s required and be transactional. This company doesn’t deserve our talent and hard work.

@dn I’ll do you one better. I just got laid off while on medical leave and my 60 days notice runs concurrently with my leave. My return to work day is my last day of the 60 days notice.
i've seen people noticed while they are on medical leave. their first day back is then their first day of the 60 day notice.
It is a super simple calculation but too many of you think you work for your Uncle who loves you. Does a job give you want you want, if yes stay. If no go.
Literally no Corporation cares about any individual to include its CEO. The difference is that the higher you go the more self-aware you become as to your importance to the business. The only ones who don’t realize this are fools or narcissists.
Most employees have the same mentality as the poor who play the lottery thinking it will give them thier come up in life.
They can either get employees that give an S, OR they can treat us like expendable assets. They don't get both.
@an ot should actually. Leadership should say on those cases well they're on a medical accommodation there has to be a reason why. To avoid a potential suit in this scenario, Leadership should work with HR and figure out something else to keep them from being laid off. So much for diversity and inclusion. You don't hear about that anymore at all.
@a7 did you honestly think that a work from home accomodation protected you from a layoff?? You don't get special treatment for that.
Most don't get any pre-notice. Would you rather know in advance or get notice only a few hours before you have a mandatory Tuesday meeting to attend?
not unusual, sadly
@aa I've already interviewed for 4 separate positions and turned down 3 offers. It's good interview practice. Happy to waste their time.
Wells Fargo definitely doesn’t deserve the talent after so much employee abuse. I get that everyone is replaceable however I look forward to a time where this horrible company can’t stay staffed and retain talent because it is just a terrible place to work. Charlie and his goon squad deserve nothing.
At least they got pre-noticed! I was on a medically approved work-from-home accommodation when I was laid-off!
