Is it happening on 25th or are these again baseless rumours like 18th.
Although got to know from HR that it will happen in phases and the first batch of layoff will definitely be in August.

Personally I wouldn’t take any claims of “leadership saying” anything seriously at all, certainly not of anything specific like dates.
No one in leadership is going to come here to leak anything. Even if they are close with certain people enough to leak specific information privately, I highly doubt those people are going to compromise that trust and blab about it publicly on here.

The layoffs in 2023 and 2024 happened on Tuesdays in the week after the Friday of most recent paycheck (in 4 days). By that logic the announcements should happen on 8/25. But some folks are saying they heard 8/31 from leadership.
Layoffs generally happen on Tuesdays. Not sure which date is correct at this point.

Enrique is completely useless so I wouldn’t expect anything to happen this week or next week. That’s why you don’t hire a senior citizen to run a fast pace tech company. Or one you want to run fast.

Enough people have told me it will be tomorrow, they had never said aug 18th or today, it was always tomorrow. Also, we've (most) always had them on Tuesdays.
