I find it so disturbing that there is NO communication going on about who has been let go, what the more global impact is going to be. The layoffs WILL affect every team at Centene in one way or another. My team had several take VSP but no lay offs (this time or so far)....they haven't even publicly said who on our team would be leaving by VSP. Absolutely zero communication from manager and above on any impact. I mean, we all know things will change across the board for folks still here....yet it feels so hush hush....meanwhile the VSP folks sit and wait until late next year to actually leave......assuming Centene is still around to pay folks out by then I guess......But lets keep preaching about that transparency......

OK - heres the next thought . It feels like things have been cloak and dagger across the country so far. Now how many WARN notices can y'all find in each state announcing all these VSPs and Layoffs and Terminations??
@ad Exactly correct. I was let go Monday.
@a4 what’s really upsetting is those of us who were going to take the VSP were persuaded not to by an email Tanya McNally, the chief people officer, put out the day before the deadline. It says don’t take the VSP is you don’t want to leave Centene. So we didn’t. Now we’re being laid off with a lesser package. I never thought Centene would be so underhanded.
@a4 - seems like a great way to transition and offload responsibilities. What a mess.
My PL told us that they can't announce who took the VSP in our market because the teams who have people taking it haven't announced it to their teams yet. We're three weeks out from September 4th and teams haven't announced who's leaving TO THEIR OWN TEAMS?! We didn't have anyone take it and no RIF's for us...yet. I'm astonished in the way this has been handled. They constantly preach about being transparent. They might need to get a dictionary.
