Is there any relief coming, or is this just the new normal?

I’m absolutely miserable here. I only declined VSP because they stated layoffs were coming regardless and we were told September was the departure date. Just to be told by management that we essentially aren’t having layoffs, If anything we’re short handed. I feel lied to and trapped. I’ve literally been crying before and during my shift since the news was announced.

Seriously… my new normal is checking this thread multiple times a day. Only plus is realizing I’m not alone in feeling this way 🙃
