So you love capitalism and AI sounds like you are the perfect fit for Humana!
@ep Actually, I like the AI posts, such as the one the OP posted. Much better than the phony disingenuous opinionated posts we see from leaders and HR on here and on work emails and MS Teams messages.
Also, we know that AI in regards to such things as past and present stock prices, AI is simply providing truthful information that is public record.
And if AI is good enough to be used by Humana for deciding which claims get approved or denied l, why would we balk at information provided by AI in other ways.
I actually feel the OP knows what they are talking about. I think maybe you just can’t handle the truth.
@C9 please stop posting AI nonsense. It is painfully obvious you have no idea what you are talking about.
@c9 I didn’t say capitalism is working. Only when capitalism turns into oligarchy or oligopoly is when things don’t work.
Capitalism works for the both the buyer and seller in fair exchange where both parties are happy. And capitalism works for both the owner or CEO of a company and the workers, where both sets of parties are happy.
But when ultra greed enters in, only one side is happy, usually the seller and the Owner/CEO.
I think you need to grow up and mature a bit. i would say more but I am really trying to be nice and show patience.
I am not going to reply and probably will not even read any more of your responses because it is not worth any more of my energy.
Good luck with what you call and think is capitalism. See how that works out for you twenty years from now. Unless, you are already rich and setup. And if that be the case, I feel sorry for you because I am thinking you are always going to think money is the all important thing in life. I will pray that money and greed’s grip will release its grips on you.
@bw "capitalism is great!" proceeds to whine about it not working for paragraphs smh
@b7 Thank you. You have just confirmed what we all know what is wrong with for-profit health insurance corporations handling the administration of a government (tax payer) funded Medicare program intended to help the elderly, disabled, and indigent to get their legitimate health claims approved and paid.
If you do a quick google search on why for-profit health insurance were contracted to assist the government as a traditional medicare option, the mandate was to assist with identifying and curbing fraud, waste, and abuse. NOT to deny person’s health claims from getting paid. And definitely not so executives could make close to $20 million a year.
As an aside to that, you are the one that is completely delusional in regards to capitalism. Capitalism works when it works for all, including those who want to work hard and do work hard.
Greed, as you put it, is what oligarchs and oligopolies are all about. That is when capitalism morphs into something very ugly that is just as bad as socialism because, like socialism, only a select few get rich while everyone else is kept down.
Capitalism is great! Socialism, communism, oligarchs, and oligopolies are very bad for both the people and the government and the country as a whole. I think you need to read more history books maybe.
@ae the business's mission is to make money. What do you not understand about capitalism? Do I need to explain greed and lack of regulations next?
@ad Stock is more than just monetary; it is also used as a gauge as to how well a corporation is meeting its business mission.
When the government hired Humana, amongst other for-profit health insurance corporations, to administrate Medicare on their behalf, the mandate that the Government gave them was to curb Fraud, Waste, and Abuse.
Well, according to the stock market gauge, as to how far Humana’s stock has fallen in the last four years, obviously Humana is failing to meet the expectations of their mandate.
So, question for you, are you okay?
@a4 this post is literally about monetary value are you ok?
@a1 Unlike you, apparently, some things are more important than money…such as principles.
Which this corporation no longer has any!
@a1 Don’t you remember, it was said on another post thread on here that this site is owned by “a private” company and therefore they can take down any post or basically do what they want.
So, why should you care what someone posts on here, regardless of whether it is an employee or whomever? Why should it bother you?
No one cares about the stock price. If you're an employee STILL invested in Humana what are you doing?
