@ar the loss of sabbaticals was such a d-mb move. PayPal already pays below market value and puts the employees through mental warfare. They truly lost any signs of pretending they care about employees.
@ed what I don’t understand is leadership says 2-3 years on a call with investors. In email and in person says 2-3 months. Did he misspeak? Why the hastened timeline? But now here we are after next 3wks will be so hard and nothing.
Why is this taking so long? Something isn't right.

Had a 1:1 where I had to pretend to talk about my weekend and.....I refuse to think I'm distracted or weak for caring about this and worrying, but I have to pretend it's all business as usual, I was laid off before coming here but sure boss I don't have ptsd I'm a totally normal corporate cog

@ar yes. And insurance getting worse. I remember at a different office I visited they even had a keg downstairs. This place no longer treats employees like it use too. I understand it cannot run like a startup but when you take away perks, ppl get irritated. All the forced AI etc, just turned into a diff company over the years - not seemingly to the companies benefit either.

@ak we havent been considered a growth company for years.
Our sh---y company never holds any gains in share price. Buyout, RIF’s, etc. I would support whatever makes the share price go up. My retirement is decimated.
Just focus on work , take time off if needed.. it’s 31st
