Even though the government has increased the H-1B fees, I bet Fiserv will still continue to renew people’s H-1Bs while not giving others their merit increases.

there is no merit in Fiserv, its all connections thats why products su-ks and some people on h1b are smart but they are reporting to management who is d-mb but majority of h1b are manager and middle manager who spend all there day in meetings very incompetent.
@bg Alpharetta is like 60% H1B, if they even show up to the office.
But if Fiserv converted a bunch of employees to contractors, Fiserv could remove the contractors at any time an not have to worry about the 90 day rule. How convenient.
@ar Yeah.. Fiserv is not subjected to that additional surcharge of $4,000 for each H1B visa because H1B employees are less than 50% .. BUT Fiserv is still categorized as a " H1B Dependent Employer " because 15% of more of all employees are H1B, which mandates strict DOL rules while laying off US Citizens and Green Card holders.
If a company is classified as H-1B dependent (meaning 15% or more of its total workforce is on an H-1B visa), it is bound by a strict Non-Displacement..
The 90-Day Rule: An H-1B dependent employer is legally prohibited from laying off any U.S. citizen worker within 90 days before or 90 days after filing an H-1B petition for an "essentially equivalent" job but Fiserv gets away with this rule by wage crossing.. paying big bucks to H1B's..
USCIS can still issue RFEs ( Request for Evidence ) on H1B extensions..
All those concerned.. Just drop the FIserv H1B visa abuse summary with USCIS..
Alpharetta is ridiculousl
Fiserv is not come under that category . employers that employ 50 or more employees in the U.S., and where more than half of those employees hold H-1B or L-1 status. Fiserv employs approximately 24,000 individuals in the United States , and not even 5k are on H1B. majority of them are either GC or USC
