Incorrect. Most H1bs are with 3rd parties and their jobs are very very safe. Same goes for L1s

USA positions are being replaced by people in APAC. No need to get a visa.

They should pick the people that stopped coming in, don't do any work and post a lot of RIF me already on thelayoff site. Least they can do, save your job not mine.

Impacted meaning getting all of our jobs
It’s true happening in Citi, not sure why only H1B promoted and retained, it’s not good sign or impression we creating. That why there is more push back on H1.
H1Bs will not be impacted. But employees will be impacted. You are generally safe if you are on a visa and if you belong to a certain race or caste or gender..
