She claims leadership eventually stopped communicating with her directly, requiring her to funnel all workplace interactions through a single in

Anyone else experience this?

Let's be realistic - The race war between "white" and "black" has been over with for a minute now. Literally there is no RACE besides Indian when it comes to not only Us Bank but several. Maybe if we all would fight for each other rather than pointing fingers we would get somewhere. But RACE war is what everyone wants so for some it's easier to give it rather than stand up and fight for what's fair for everyone.

@c2 One pattern that deserves honest discussion is who benefits from the current system. In my observation, our HR partners and Talent Consultants are predominantly white women, while many Indian women continue to struggle for recognition and advancement despite making significant contributions that help drive the success of male leaders. Under Dilip’s leadership, Leslee Mudge —Technology HR Consultant partner — has been engaged in several matters and has reinforced conduct that conflicted with ethical standards.

Another concern is the perception that career advancement is not always based solely on merit. There are instances where employees who have close personal relationships or family connections within the organization appear to receive greater visibility, sponsorship, or opportunities. Whether or not that perception is accurate, it undermines trust in the fairness of the promotion process.

That's baseline USB. Leadership does whatever they want and HR does nothing. HR protects the company (poorly), not the employees.

I have personally gone to HR about verbal, mental, and emotional abuse from leaders. They did nothing. Even when I wasn't alone in submitting those reports and there was data to prove what was going on they did nothing. When I went to them about s-xual harassment that their investigation confirmed as legitimate, they did nothing and the employee I went to them about is still with the company. I have personally witnessed not-white coworkers being given zero opportunities compared to their peers. HR. DOES NOT. CARE.

I too have noticed that nobody cares anymore about black women. To be honest I have had no choice but to not care. It's everyone for themselves now.

I experienced this too. It was after maternity leave and I was hired on by an Indian woman to be her scapegoat on a program that was doomed from the start (of course I had no idea what I was getting into).

I saw discrimination and emotional abuse by senior level product white male against a junior level female. He essentially tried to take over her work as part of empire building. Every Indian person on the program helped make that happen - the collusion is real. I tried to escalate it to my boss as everyone saw it happening in front of them - this was a time when teams were predominantly co-located in the same space. Instead of doing anything about it, she fabricated a PIP that was 100% based on lies that I was the one causing the stress on the program and turning people against each other.

It was an overall insane experience. I had multiple people tell me that they would support my story if I opened an ethics report or HR case. Many people said they were seeking therapy or restarting therapy because of this experience. I was documenting everything and planning to light the fire. Also, my in laws and extended family are predominantly lawyers and were willing to help me build a case.

The next week she won a legends award and became untouchable.

@c2 Only male across the organizations. No female. All female credits attributed to male promotion and growth.

@ac Some context. White male here, 40-60.

Since GK took over, African-American women are clearly less in the spotlight. Used to be a good mix, between all races and genders, but GK clearly favors Indians.

It’s great that she also names a person who is still employed with the bank and hiring employees as another ‘victim’ (eyeroll)
