Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

ISG future and upcoming WFR round.

Does anyone has any idea or any news regarding next round of WFR. When it will be and on which basis it will happen? Also, what is the future of ISG and it's product portfolio as based on current wave it doesn't seem there is any vision or strategy for product to release in next quarter.

Time to let go of inept senior ISG directors... come on, you know who you are.

At least three VP/SVPs were let go this week. There were probably more, I’m rarely ‘in the know’.

@c3 And you believed what this current leadership team said or thinks? I wouldn't believe then as far as I could throw them. They haven't earned trust.

November and September but it's dying down a meeting with upper management said they are expecting the AI bubble to have a small burst next March/April

There never has been a coherent, cohesive strategy from ISG, certainly not one that has ever been successfully executed. Neither is there accountability from its failed leadership.

I think they are now relying on attrition and putting a stop to outside hiring unless it is completely needed.

What vision or strategy did you see in the past that you are now not seeing?

ISG's strategy is very simple. It is to continue milking any desperation revenue it can from the market while its products continue to fall into oblivion prior to sale.

ISG Engineering's part is to pretend they're actually working on something, fix bugs continuously, and make up excuses as to why they keep slipping each week. NOTE: Innovation IS NOT part of ISG Engineering's strategy.

ISG Product Management's charter then is to continue presenting useless 67 slide PowerPoint presentations built by outside analysts and contractors, present them as their own, then do nothing with them. NOTE: Their strategy IS NOT to speak with customers, gather requirements, prioritize requirements, develop aggressive yet achievable roadmaps, manage product metrics, or hold anyone accountable for failed product execution.

ISG Sales team's strategy is to continue to sell 10-yr old technology from EMC and convince customers that a finished product developed internally by Dell is coming any day now ... any day now ... any day now.
