I have the Sunday night dread starting early on a Saturday. This place drains me.

Push back on being on call on weekends. It's perfectly acceptable to say that you are practicing your religion on the weekends starting at sundown Friday and all day Saturday. Then say that you have other family obligations on Sundays.
@gm did you ever think that maybe it’s hard to find something?
i had those feeling starting friday night. be told to be on call twice a month. go in full time because Boston but somehow being on call weekends is fine at home.
These constant complaints are getting old. If your current job makes you that miserable, why not look for something better outside—something that actually makes you happy and productive?
@cn exactly. I’m dreading tomorrow and we’re not even in busy season. There is too much work week after week and pressure to finish but also to not make minuscule mistakes. It’s perpetual. We need more people badly.
Everyone sounds like they’re in CE Custody. We are beyond micromanaged, incredibly understaffed and constantly losing senior, great associates. Some have even quit. But management told us the micromanaging is going to get worse bc other groups don’t think we’re working hard enough. Like just be transparent and tell me your goal is to give people panic attacks. People are doing the job of multiple associates for about 10 hours a day and it’s not enough according to management, it’s so depressing and stressful.
And you’re obviously not alone. This forum is mostly busy on weekends and overnight.
I did too yesterday super bad, and today too. I normally don’t. But my job is purposely understaffed and even if you worn ahead, more gets dumped on you. I have 2+ days of work to do tomorrow and they get on you if you can’t finish it all. I have other things going on tomorrow and on my weekends. I want to get out of here before I get in trouble.
Mine starts just before quitting time on Fridays.
I hear you. Before RTO, I was very productive, available, online and easily working many high quality efficient hours per week. Mentally and physically good. There was a solid good balance.
Now with RTO in place, I strategically work 12-15 hours per week. At most 25 hours per week. It is still good quality work, reviews are "meets expecations", but now all working bets are off. Fidelity gets "8-5", no evening emails, no weekend emails, don't ask for favors, timed response from 8-5, and no going above and beyond. Can someone please promote Abby as soon as possible? Thanks
