Why I have been hearing is a bit concerning. May be everyone already knows this. But they want to move the entire engineering teams to Offshire. Fully functioning teams. There will be an onshore counterpart for every team.

Please understand that they are looking to be at a 70% offshore and 30% onshore. Many people in leadership just don’t see it only being 40% onshore but top execs keep pushing the reduction down to increase the stop price as lower profits are expected next year.
This basically means only director and higher will be onshore and the rest will be offshore. Their maybe a few Senior Managers left but those will be the work horses aka 50-70hrs a week grinding it out hoping to keep their jobs.
@cv I would have to say that both are a concern.
As long as there are onshore counterparts for every offshore team, including team size and composition, is this really a big concern?
Really a shame! And yet mediocre middle level leaders continue on in their jobs.
