Sorry to ask this here but are contractors required to go to office 3 days or there is no in office monitoring for contractors?

Contractors actually have much more rigorous monitoring to ensure the billed hours are the worked hours. Employee monitoring isn’t as strict.
I'm a contingent resource (contractor) and fully remote. The FTE on my team follow in office day requirements as well as other metrics that do not apply to me.
contractors are subject to the same standard and monitoring as employees in the business unit they work in.
@d8 it seems like depends on each LOB. The hiring manager said I can be fully remote if I accept the contract job. I was displaced earlier due to location strategy.
We have contractors in my larger team and they are all remote.
Unfortunately you'll be held to the same plantation rules as your work group which will likely require you to work somewhere between six and (gasp) eight hours a day in office. Welcome to the struggle.
Everyone has a set of required in office days which can vary by business group (5 days for most customer facing teams, 4 days for risk and other senior roles, and 3 days for most staff employees). Contractors are asked to follow the guidance for the group they support. Non compliance is reported to the staffing agency who are the legally the employer of the contractor and any coaching or feedback comes from the agency.
