Our director, or whatever his title is these days, lives in Texas. I live in North Carolina. Chalk it up to yet another questionable leadership decision.
We’re told he’s great at managing up to Cram and Company, but before his promotion his track record was horrendous. And apparently that combination was so impressive that the answer was a promotion.
At some point, you have to stop blaming the people in the field and start looking at who is making these decisions. The pattern speaks for itself. Leadership isn’t part of the problem. Leadership is the problem.
@aa Brian Dowhower
@kj if you have a good financial advisor, yes, you would. Truist management is trying to blow up the wealth management division by forcing higher fees, still no CRM after promising for over 5 years, horrible implementation of new computer systems that no one knows how to use or how it rolled out so horribly and allowed that to happen? I predict you are going to see big teams leaving in the next few months. SunTrust wealth division was horrible. BB&T Scott & Strongfellow was not. Investments is always about the relationships.
Ken should retire already. Well, he technically seems to be already with the golfing and happy hours
@s5 the guy in TX previously ran the smallest wealth shop in the firm!
@kj agreed!!!
seriously though who would use Truist wealth. I mean if you have big dollars are you really going to park them at Truist versus a Goldman, BAML, JPM or MS.
@dz oh gosh please share this story. Pretty please?
I watched him completely embarrass a newly hired advisor in a room of about 200 people one day. He’s a pretty boy wanna be elite who should have been removed years ago.
Just so everyone is aware, it’s Brian Dowhower. The Head of Truist Wealth.
He’s been replaced by Shimna Sameer. The Head of Products, Solutions, and Platforms for Bank of America.
@am Brian townhouses is what I’ll be calling him going forward
@ag Brian townhouses (or however you spell his name) in wealth. Which is why I didn’t give his last name because I don’t remember how to spell it
He’s probably switching roles to focus on GCC
If you’re gonna name names, use first and last names. Some of us don’t know who you are talking about.
Another invader. Great.
