You only need to announce mass layoffs when the number is above a certain threshold. What's stopping them from doing smaller cuts of 200-300 people every few months?
You guys really think not a single person is going to be cut after getting NS for annual reviews at the end of this FY? We also had significant cuts earlier in May that weren't as publicized. Expect Visa to become a revolving door moving forward.
That's the thing about company culture, it takes decades to build, 1 layoff to destroy. Btw shouldn't leaders be held accountable for making hiring mistakes then since these people were deemed surplus to where they want visa to go? How come not a single senior TLT was cut at all?
