@ev I’ll buy it…break it up and convert the pieces to multiple sales internationally. Lotsa foreign concerns interested at my price to get into the American telecom business and wreck it!!
@a3 There will never be a time moving forward where fiber is not a necessity. Maybe not specifically residential fiber but transport, long haul fiber is a necessity for even wireless. I agree wireless is the future but that means more towers and more fiber to the tower.
80% of Uniti fiber was old and garbage when they were created a few years back. Have they replace it or just keep patching? I suspect the latter
There is no growth in residential fiber. The only real product we have to offer is our fiber network. But to get it you have to get all the legacy stuff as well.
Kenny isn't interested in running a company with actual customers instead of a reit. Too much effort. His eyes literally glaze over in any meeting where kinetic comes up.
Harrobin is using it to cash out for him and his friends from frontier and Verizon.

Look at the focus on metrics (right there on the intranet splash page) and it all looks geared to appearances, numbers, and making things look good for a potential buyer.
If you were listening to the State of the Uniti address, Kenny G. said T-Mobile deal is not happening.
The DOW and S&P are up and flourishing while UNIT is continuing to drop... Sure all makes a sale look attractive. Keep that price dropping, making a wireless buyer get a better deal. Any wireless including a fiber only company are just as good as a copper company. Wireless and Satellite internet for consumer is the future of this industry.
