Now we're nothing but a joke. It breaks my heart to see how we're being systematically destroyed and there's nothing we can do to stop it.

We need Jeff back to help restore the company’s reputation and standing.
@16s At least she doesn't seem to dislike America the way some commentators in other major media outlets do, which I believe are influenced by anti-American interests.
@ns is she in a corporate department ?
@12t good thing propagandist Mossad asset BW is brining all the cutting edge centrist and center-right scoops to the news room from loser Z-list influencers and hacks, the American people have been begging on their hands and knees for it. This will surely turn things around
@11v That's a good thing, considering Democrats control the majority of media. People will finally get opportunity to hear from both sides.
@12f not saying I agree with it. Just stating historical facts about how we got here
@124 lol get real loser.
@11v it’s a natural pendulum swing in the opposite direction due to the extreme woke authoritarian excesses of the past decade.
@cf not even close. He is trying to leverage the company so that he can acquire WBD. The end goal is to control media to push conservative values to keep him, his family, and friends rich. It’s purely a political move that is orchestrated by his father. Any finger pointing to anyone who has an actual worker job, managers or remote employees, is distracting you from what is actually happening. The downsizing of media to control ideas to help rich folks stay rich. If you keep defending them, they will eventually eat you too.
@ts it’s illegal to have a fake job?
@t7 No, it’s illegal. I have a lawyer looking into it.
@ns That's called leadership.
My boss is a joke. Literally. She’s an EVP who knows nothing, adds no value but is protected by some blackmailing thing. It will all come out in the wash.
@hs Absolutely true
@m9 Valuation is a BS metric its just based on the stock price.
company conglomerate is now only valued at $9 Billion which was the value of viacom alone back when they remerged with CBS and renamed paramount global which was supposedly supposed to be valued at $30 Billion... lol
@hv Yes and the dirt they have on people
@cs it’s who u know not what u know.
@hc many are. Some probably have multiple jobs and barely do any work. Some do great work and we very much depend on them. The problem isn’t where they work from. Some people in and out of the office fill their days with unnecessary fake meetings which bring no value. Some play the game to give the appearance of doing work when they are actually doing bare minimum they’re asked and bringing very little value. Some who don’t focus on the corporate administrative metrics tracking like the previous mentioned group might bring tremendous value through helping others, proactively fixing problems or critical thinking which benefits our products. Who falls into which group might be hard to discern from someone at a higher level near DE. If he asks for lists of who to cut from the ocean of middle managers, some dishonest ones would actually give him the wrong names for self preservation purposes, ignorance or apathy. That is the real issue at this company.
There are still so many middle managers and upper echelon “decision makers” in the ranks. Skydance could easily cut a bunch more if they wanted to. Not sure about other groups but many teams were left in the wind after the layoffs. Some of the reporting structures don’t make sense.
@dg It is. They are useless.
@f9 Paying freeloading senior leaders and remote workers is a mistake.
After last August 7th, DE was solely focused on obtaining WBD. That's why nothing has changed except job losses.
Paying 3 ceos was an embarassing mistake…
@cs It takes time to turn things around. DE hasn't even been in charge for a year. We need good content to make money, and then the company can invest in people, tech, and whatever else. The problem is that our IPs, like Star Trek, have been damaged by questionable decisions, from hiring writers to putting Kurtzman in charge.
@dg 100%
It’s not necessarily remote workers who are the problem. I come into the office while many of my best coworkers do not have to come in. There are remote and non-remote workers who do not pull their weight or actually do nothing but still have a job somehow. There are people stuck at the bottom with no hopes of promotion who are 10x more competent and hardworking than everyone 4 levels above them. This could easily be a great company again if incentives were changed to reward people who give a damn instead of those who do not.
@cs yes. Caribbean remote workers.
@cf really? Please explain to me specifically how? Oh that’s right, you can’t. Instead he keeps lazy remote workers employed along with their do nothing bosses.
DE is actually trying to save the company and get back to producing great content.
This company has been a joke for a while. Leadership has been cr-p for years. Stock is at $8.
It's always been a premiere peddler of absolute gøyslop
