Thread regarding CDW layoffs

CDW Layoffs

CDW and McKinsey & Company have both faced scrutiny regarding their DEI practices (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) and ESG frameworks (Environmental, Social, and Governance), many referring to these programs as "woke," while company leadership defends them as sound strategies. Who is paying the price for these programs?

She's greedy!

Google search shows Target compensates their Board.

She got over $300k in equity in 2004...
Since she's still on the board...we can guess she's probably received close to $1 million from Target.

At the same time her and Liz (because Liz is one of her right hand women) cut the compensation of the actual sellers that bring in all the Revenue and GP to CDW.

I call that devilish greed if you couple that with how she handled her divorce.

Our leaders are Two-Faced. Laying off US workers and making them train thier overseas counterparts to receive measly severerance packages while they collect millions and live the lives that we can dream about (like who buys a $10 mill ocean front property in CA while starting the first continued mass layoff in CDW history).

I remember a Leader a long time ago that worked to get sellers more pay. He succeeded but all that work was undone and now he's a VP at a competitor. They get rid of people that stand up for the little people and then create fake optics by mentoring some people that then say good things about them (so they play the game to get ahead as well).

Working SOOOO hard, yet she still manages to find time to be on an advisement board with Target, also targeting DEI.

WTH is it with CEOs and not having enough to do in their day/month/year that they advise other companies instead?

Complete BullStuff.

@16t were you on those trainings? Was anything the poster said wrong? It was exactly what happened and was a total clown show. There's a reason that group is no longer here. Complete nonsense. It's not that hard, just respect each other and treat them how you want to be treated, case closed.

No one cares that you don't like your fellow non pigmented coworkers.

I thought we were all one family. Can't we all just get along. I just want to be judged by the content of my character and the quality of my work and not my race or skin tone.

Shame. Didn't realize my pale skin was frowned upon. I'll try and tan more to make it a safer space you.

You should edit your post to read "SIGNED THE RACIST"

Your particular race card has been declined as you're over your limit.

The racist are showing their true colors. Why don’t you stop hiding and share who you are? Signed, a BLACK WOMAN

@ez that nonsense was so despicable. You couldn't pay me enough to work there again. Literally could offer me $1mm to work there for any amount of time and I would not soil myself for one day.

CDW PR is hard at work, paying off this site to remove factual posts about Leahy.

From what I learned in the DEI "inclusion" trainings that we had to sit through numerous times a year is that I have unconscious bias (lol, for real), so bias I'm not even aware of and that I should be ashamed of it, even though I don't know I have it. True story.

In another "inclusion" training I learned the "young to middle aged white male" is apparently the most racist species there is and the basis of evil within the corporate environment. Basically every minority that came on the call to talk threw that demographic under the bus with no recourse or correction. Not a single white person was a presenter for that session. Now that's not very inclusive, is it?

And oh yeah, remember the vaccine mandate here? A company telling you what you need to put in your body??? Well sorry CL & CDW fam, the vaccination card was a fake that I submitted.....

Also prices got just as high under your walking corpse Bidet.

Get some treatment for your TDS miss. You'll be happier in life.

@OP

Our leaders paying the consultant that pushed and created the opi--d pandemic.

You can't make this sh-t up.

DEI is discrimination in itself by pushing to hire based on characteristics other than the "best person for the role"

Leahy's tenure at CDW should be a case study.

Not sure how there's not a class action lawsuit by investors since Leahy worked so hard to tank shares to the tune of -30% over the last 5 years as AI and datacenters have boomed.

All those billions and we're getting the scraps.

You're right...
They didn't learn.
"Go woke. Go Broke"

The Covid sales boosted #'s for a bit and hid all the BS Leahy and team pushed while Democrats had the White House.

But weak leaders flip flop like a fish out of water. Now you have the other party in power and she scrapped the whole DEI segment to maintain government contracts.

I saw all the posts on LinkedIn where the former DEI segment were all in search of a new gig.

We have a sellout as CEO and no matter what side of the political aisle you're on.

When I realized Leahy was on the Target board as well as they drove all that craziness like half their consumers are groomers, it all made sense with what's going on here at CDW.
She has a pattern of bad decision making and pushing things that don't matter in the actual business.

She's not turning away from conservative customers though because everyone loves the color green. Show's she's not strong in her principles as she pushes an agenda then sways the opposite way as shares plummet and there's blow back publicly or internally.

If Leahy is not a leader. Definitely not a leader the actual masses want to follow.

The only thing she succeeded in is padding her own pockets with so much generational type wealth that it's shocking she doesn't step down. Pride I guess as she doesn't want to go out as the one leader that actually set CDW back instead of made things better.

And all the people under her enabling her are just as bad.

Pushed DEI initiatives over merit and now they have to fire all the people they hired via those processes.

What a waste of shareholder money and coworkers who work like slaves to hit high GP numbers.

There's literally less drive to sell more because the law of diminishing returns. Why work twice as hard when I only might get 5-10% more
