Thread regarding BP PLC layoffs

Office tracking dashboard

I’m checking the dashboard. I am at 57.4% for some reason.

I am in compliance every other week except one week where I came into office one day, had two home days, had used sick leave one day, and had an approved non office work day.

Why would that drop me below 60% average? all are approved days.

I do my best to comply if I’m gonna get fired for 57-% one week, then so be it.

Comply with the spirit of the mandate & move on. I think this is intended to flush out those who are really not even trying.

@g9 we’re heading back to full time in the office some countries are already doing 4 days. Money would have been wasted on this dashboard which basically tells me what I already know

Just bring back 9/80s so we don’t have to deal with this

@dz this is because bp is prone to place low quality people in leadership roles. Those folks push for MVP rollouts so they can take credit for project completion and get promoted, while never being held responsible for the cr-p project they push out the door.

@OP Ha I don’t think anyone can be suprised a new app, tool, whatever is rolled out as a working application. Nothing bp rolls out works immediately. It’s all work the bugs out live because who actually has time to get anything done properly when they keep reducing frontline worker headcount

Typical bp to roll out another tool that doesn’t work. Remember the Covid tracking App. Spent all that money and upgrades to badges.

@OP approved absence (sickness, vacation etc) that is entered in Workday is disregarded. If you were in the office 3 days and home for 2 days for 3 weeks that would comply with 60/40 (9 out of 15). If you were off sick one day out of the three weeks then it is 8 days in the office out of 14 (so 57.14%). If your manager is bothered by this mathematical anomaly they shoudl be fired for being a knob.
