All I keep hearing from multiple departments is that January is a major reorganization is going to happen company wide, heard from VZW and VZB departments alike, whether a layoff happens this year, appears it might, so the shuffle and changes will happen. Not all changes are bad, more efficient work habits and dead weight, and yes the union has caused a lackadaisical attitude among many not pulling their own weight, a lot a house cleaning needs and should take place if you like it or not, change will happen. This wasn’t my first job and probably won’t be my last.

@h1 Based on the downvotes, this post about VZ’s reorg addiction must have hit a nerve! LOL!
You think Trump knows about how many American jobs VZI took?
@j6 I see what you did there
Finance could do a reorg. They could segment the grunt work of reporting and planning into a center of excellence, enabling finance to unlock their business partnering abilities. I’m sure all the finance leadership would do everything they could to work together in unison to make the concept successful.
I doubt there will be anymore layoffs or reorgs. Dan’s AI stack transformation is close to completion.
We just need one more reorg! Trust us!

@OP The 50th time’s the charm! I’m sure that this reorg will succeed in improving productivity and profitability unlike all the previous ones! LOL!
@gt that's 1 year too many
All Frontier Management only got 1 year employment until Jan 20th 2027... Then the blood letting begins
I hope to get reorged into value so I can attend their next prom and post about it on LinkedIn!
Mr. Russo Said it in his all-Employee Q&A. There are changes in the near changes and it won't stop any time soon, nothing can be communicated yet until it is done deal. So seems that there quite few possibilities some will become true but not all.
I heard we are all merging VBG and VCG
@OP for the past 7 years I have been through 5 reorgs. 5 new managers...it has been going around in circles, moving headcounts from one team to another, same narrative but nothing, I mean nothing good has been achieved for the business, in fact it has made processes a lot worse and efficiencies lost....it has been a circus and will be a circus as long as the same people are on top making these decisions.....just get pay....life is too short.
The entire company will eventually be run by AI data centers & robots linked up to Skynet. Cyberdyne Systems will own VZ in a few years.
I mean, all the company does is reorg. We don't even have time to sort out and get going in a reorg before there's another reorg. I genuinely believe I e has a clue wtf they're doing at this company anymore. It's like we're all, at all levels, working from a state of panic, constantly. Everything feels like an epic and constant sh-t show every freaking day.
So yeah, why wouldn't there be another reorg, after all, we haven't finished with the one we had less than a year ago.
@OP This happens every time the executive deck is shuffled.
sell ur house if you work in finance. be ready
Does anyone have more definitive examples of what this might look like? This is my first time so I am not sure what to expect.
IT side, Frontier has a long road, and definitely not by years end. The integration has been a trainwreck since day one. The integration would be more in the people side to finally bring them in.
Well frontier integration and fios into ACSS will be completed before years end so I would guess a big shift will happen.
