I mean a $13.61 to $27.12 is a pretty good recovery.

@14f Not so sure about that. The peak was before Burkland came back and sent the company on a downward spiral
@10r What were the problems? Serious question: what was the direct reports' perspective?
this company peaked in all aspects in summer 2024. stock was higher and the burkland crew got exposed. great employees were still here. sad days ahead.
@rs Panos ONLY had Senior Director experience at Cisco, and he skipped VP and SVP level when hired at Five9 to be EVP of Cloud Ops. That's ENTIRELY his experience, DevOps, Cloud Ops, SRE.
He did NOT have VP or SVP and suddenly moved from EVP Cloud Ops to EVP of Engineering? That's an entirely different beast. He constantly in his all-hands had "his theory" or "his perspective" on everything, missing the forrest for the trees, and did not take seriously what his reports (direct or skip) explained was the problem.
@k1 100% panos was a legit scammer. Brought in weak people from Cisco so they can all say “yes sir” and systematically replaced people who can challenge his incompetence. Anyway, he made a small fortune for himself and his family on his way out. Snake oil salesman
@hx $200 doesn’t matter unless you sat on your shares in 2021-2022 and are hoping they rebound all the way back. That ship has sailed. If you’re a strong performer you were recently granted shares that are now up 50%. Onwards and upwards
@hx Not 100% accurate, he got rid of the biggest scammer, Panos. That guy alone derailed the company, I applaud him for realizing the biggest problem so quick, next step I hope he fires all the parasites with VP in the title.
From a high of over $200.00 the small technical rebound means nothing. The new CEO has done NOTHING to show the market we should be trusted with their money
Find new jobs guys, its a matter of time until you find yourself in the unemployment list. Stock is not going anywhere it’s 1990 technology and sh---y managers co-ktail. Get out, stop procrastinating. It’s nice to stop talking negatives about management and hating the place, and instead start worrying only about your job and personal growth again. Good luck!
@ae Not true, in fact, quite the contrary. All the below tickers over the last month (minus)
Googl -16.42,
NVDA -7.69,
SP500 -1.42,
Nasdaq -1,623
Fivn +6.18
It has nothing to do with the merits of the company. Riding general market waves.
It’s been doing better and better since Amit joined. He seems to have the investors’ trust. He’s certainly much more of an “action” person than Mike ever was.
