Company News: The "Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards" - where out of 20 awards issued, 19 went to Optum India.
Way to rub the outright, blatent, anti-USA descrimination into the faces of your employees, a--hats!

@jx Offshore cycle of Agile work:
User Story #1: [Continued] [Continued] [Continued] [Continued] [Continued] [Continued] [Continued] [Continued] Deploy to Beta
Defect (based on above User Story): [Move] [Move] [Move] [Move] [Move] [Move]
{panic ensues - escalated to onshore American, who (rightfully) refuses to be tied to the original user story or defect}
User Story #2: Completed and deployed to beta within days. Rolled out to full production by end of sprint.
{end story}
@jd “take over the work” = be assigned the work, do nothing until someone tells them exactly what to do, then ignore the advice they requested, then cr-p up the work, then play helpless and ask US staff how to fix the what was a completely avoidable fu-k up, and then fu-k it up some more while attempting to fix it.
@j5 Ambitious, sure. Highly skilled, lol.
I always tell my fresher friends to apply at Optum. It is a good way to get referral bonus and there are many jobs where we can take over the work from the US teams.
U.S. workers are competing against a highly educated, ambitious workforce whose skilled labor still costs dramatically less than comparable U.S. labor. The company paid 575 per entry and they even have a judge from global solutions on the panel. They are hustlers but you can compete rather than complain. Both take about the same energy.
@ar What's funny is you falling into the trap of believing that one side actually cares about you lol.
If only those Indians shared with us Americans what their systems of Jugaad and Izzat are. Google if you want to understand them.
An American Company, providing American services run by Indians. It makes me sick.
@ar Why does the responsibility for decades of abuse fall on the 'MAGA' administration? Did you vote for people who allowed the problem to get this bad? I bet you did.
This is how MAGA monopoly policy works. So much focus on deporting small laborers but nothing on all the important jobs going out of country, or multibillion corruptions, and dependence on foreign workers or companies for all critical areas of work. I guess that is way over the thinking capacity of the administration.
Without the top level attention— all the leaders will do what will give them most money for themselves. Nobody cares about anyone whining here.
