As a former CSC employee, attending training for new systems before 2/19 (like Amazon Connect / Lex or MS Teams) and the other CSC trainees in the meetings are offshore (he-l, even one of the trainers I had a couple times is offshore)

  1. You are consistently being pushed out or isolated by leaders or by peers/subordinates who are close to those leaders through repeated disrespect, exclusion, or deliberate silence.
  2. You are no longer invited to leadership calls or meetings that you previously attended or would reasonably be expected to attend.
  3. You are asked to train others on your work, particularly when those individuals may be positioned to take over some or all of your responsibilities.
  4. Other leaders begin appearing regularly in your team meetings without a clear explanation for their involvement.
  5. During 1:1s, leaders repeatedly belittle, undermine, or dismiss your unique strengths and contributions.
  6. You are explicitly asked to remain silent or not participate during calls involving senior leadership.
  7. Leaders, sponsors, or mentors repeatedly cancel or avoid 1:1s with you without meaningful rescheduling.
  8. Compare your workload, opportunities, visibility, and assignments with those receiving continued favoritism, recognition, or promotions. A significant and sustained disparity, without a clear business reason, is worth paying attention to.
  9. Look at your bonus relative to your target, performance, and historical compensation. An unexplained decline can be another signal, particularly when combined with other changes. Know that those being favored receive 120% of their goals if not higher so lack of budget is an excuse.
  10. Ask your leader directly which performance/talent category or “box” you are currently in. If you are not in boxes1, 2, or 4, you may be at risk. Before my layoff, I was moved under an uneducated/untrained individual. That person moved me from box 1 (ready for promotion) to 8 with no explanation.
  11. Consider your geographic location relative to the rest of the team, especially if the organization is changing its location, office, hybrid, or workforce strategy.
  12. If you are a leader and realize that your team size is shrinking.
  13. If you are a leader and asked to report to a leader of the same band.
    The list continues...
    Yes, I experienced them all.....

If your divisions senior leadership quit or has been shown the door. If leadership doesn't have much to say, they get real quiet when they know something is up. They will do a PIP at the drop of a hat because they have to. They cancel meetings or remove you from them. They dont look you in the eye.

You start having European employees on your team…. That’s the subtle one

Your segment is rumored to be up for sale.

You are no longer getting direction from Band 5 leadership.

Your coworkers are under constant threat of PIP.

Interest/value in whatever you’re producing has diminished.

You don’t have clear Lead To One directives.

@a4 💯for USA employees.

We are all at risk. There is no job security for USA. Meanwhile HIH is causing critical
Issues and doing things that would get us PIPd or fired and nothing happens to them.
