No empty talk, no posturing. If they offered me a package, I'd take it in a heartbeat. Fifteen years ago, I joined the company of my dreams. Today, it's the one of my nightmares and I can't wait to find a way out.

@xm It's like a pest chewing through the wire. You would just wish for them to stop bugging you.
It is best to leave Ford on your terms. Trust me there is life after Ford and it is better, happier, and more satisfying.

Lots of trolls on this site…. Ford needs to focus on hiring decent people, not just smart ones but sane ones.
@bz @cg This place is a Dogshit so I understand. To leave, you need to investigate your a-s off. Hopefully you never speak up about it though. They won't like you talking about that. That's when the ALPR and lying to the public comes out.
Agree.
Leaving Ford was the best decision I ever made. Since quitting, my life has improved dramatically. I no longer deal with the daily stress of ambiguity, constant monitoring or a toxic work environment, and I am finally sleeping well again.
The shift back to the office was bad, you're happy, healthy and then forced to work with and for weirdos, and the stress eventually took a toll on my health, leading to a cardiac event, medications, constant doctor visits, and weight gain. Thankfully, my health has completely rebounded since I left. My recent blood work was perfect, I am losing the weight I gained over the last two years, and I feel younger and more energized. No more medication, just got the all-clear, so I'm excited for that.
I am finally spending quality time with family and friends and enjoying my life again. My doctor advised me that the job wasn't worth the money, and he was absolutely right. I am still moving on from the experience, but I am incredibly glad to be out, this place is Sad, you don't need to be.
@bh If this is a real post, I'm sorry to hear that and I wish you well. Hopefully things go in a better direction for you.
They don’t give exit packages anymore they just give you 2 bad performance reviews in a row and immediately fire you
My boss has currently been targeting me really hard ever since I revealed I was pregnant and it’s making life he-l. I can’t apply for other places right now bc new jobs don’t cover short term disability / maternity leave until you’ve been there 6+ months
I’m stuck for at least 5+ more months but will be aggressively looking for a new job during my maternity leave (if they don’t fire me for some bs reason first)
I used to love working at ford and planned to spend my entire career here - the best people have left it’s a sinking ship filled with mediocre “leaders” who care nothing for their employees
You hit the nail on the head , only they are not doing buyouts just trying to fire people.
Well start interviewing then. You control your own destiny. I’ve watched too many people trap themselves in a life of misery at Ford. The place will not change.
