For those recently laid off: did your displacement packet include the standard disclosure showing the ages of everyone in your group who was laid off? I was laid off a few years ago and received it. This layoff I did not. Does this mean I was the only one in my group that was displaced?

Can somebody please say what the severance package was like for the latest layoff? Just to see if there were any changes since the last round.

BNY doesn't seem interested in keeping talented employees. They're paying some truly great people to walk out the door with each new layoff. I don't understand the strategy. You pay people to join, you invest in them, and then you pay them to leave? The math doesn't add up.

When will they contact those that are leaving to go over severance package , those that went thru this ,can you comment on process , can we keep life insurance if we pay premium,

U of P today announced possible reorg and layoffs soon. It has started by offering early leave package opportunities for some employees but says they are not clear that they will approve their applications. If not enough volunteers to leave they will then need to layoff. Their HR webpage was impacted due to employees trying to research benefit packages ---- so would seem many employees must have received the offer.

Has anyone who was laid off on July 29 been contacted by HR with their numbers, agreement, and all that? Or are they just so understaffed that it still takes this long? I don’t have any contact info.

Well, guys, I was offered a severance package today, and I didn’t take it. HR told me that if I don’t accept it, I’ll most likely be laid off in mid-November during the next round of layoffs. They gave me until the 18th to make a decision, and honestly, I don’t know what to do anymore.

I was able to review the package, and it’s 11 months of pay. I also get to keep my stocks. It’s a tough decision.

Mentally preparing for Monday layoffs in aiops - how does severance work? Do you stay on the payroll for a certain amount of time or get the package worth up front? What happens if you find another job during your severance time (ex new job 2 months into a 3 month severance) - do you forfeit the last month?

So does the vsp amount get updated if term date is for next year because the package has end date for this year

So when will we know if enough people accepted the package?

No one wants to lose their job including myself. Does anyone know if they are still offering the 2 weeks per year. I would think so but some band 4-5 might know.... I'm band 7 so I'm sure I'll find out or maybe not. Please share if you know, and sorry to all those hit. This really does su-k, I'm in PSO.

SF needs to change the retirement to the rule of 80 or 90 - age plus years of service = full retirement and get those older employees off the books. We have a ton of employees that wfh that lack 5 to 10 years and they will hang on for the retirement. If they changed this they probably wouldn't need the exit package.

Curious if anyone during any round of these layoffs did not take the severance and sign the separation agreement and if so, what happened and where do you stand now?

I don't know where to go from here.

I was laid off last week and I have to say I feel nothing but relief. I was one bad week away from resigning with nothing lined up. Now I get a package and a clean exit. I know not everyone is in the same position, so I hope the others affected are doing alright.

What happens to your shares if you get laid off? Do they pay you or not?

I was not laid off but am not happy with layoffs and very sad to see close people leave. I will have a lot of work and be miserable. Can I get a package to leave Fidelity? Could I return later?
