What did everyone think about Ryan saying layoffs are now part of the “new normal” and to expect them going forward?

it really is crazy how bad this will work in the long run. Ryan seems to think hes the CEO of Google where every is paid top of the market salary, and a massive pile of perks and benefits.
Not sure what the end-game is here.
@xr Double Needs Strengthening will get you performance managed out, and that shouldn't be a surprise. One NS over two consecutive years should will also lead to PIP.

@t6 exactly. If you don't meet this expectation, you will get double NS in your performance evaluation and they will fire you with cause.
We should start a union
@s0 Expectation is to do the job of 2-3 people even if you do not have the experience. If you do not perform assigned tasks = misery = next machete list
We had an all-hands with our local senior leader and we were told the same. AI is here to stay and that we need to do more with less (people).
