Thousands of seniors are receiving notification that their Medicare Advantage plan won't be available next year, and there's nothing they can do about it except find another option.
One in 10 Medicare Advantage policyholders face forced disenrollment this year, according to an analysis by researchers at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. That's as many as 2.9 million Americans.

@eb Go back and read what you just wrote. Not really a ringing endorsement. If I was one of 600k Medicare Members receiving a letter that my plan was being canceled and read what you had wrote, not sure that I would be jumping up in the air shouting woo hoo!

Even if providers are dropping their plans, Members can still sign up for Medicare. Yes they will have to purchase a supplement and they may not be able to get through underwriting if they’ve been on an MMA plan for a while, but they will at least be covered somewhat. Many of these Members qualify for Medicaid and traditional Medicare coupled with traditional Medicaid is better than any MA plan
