Considering a return to Citi. Is there any wiggle room on pro-rated severance repayment? How quickly does it need to be repaid?

Hr gives you option to return in one time or to have cut from your paycheck and they adjust taxes accordingly
It’s negotiable. But only discuss it at the offer stage.
It’s money already out the door, there are people who not only kept their severance, but also negotiated a small signing bonus.
No, because even if you return it, the government still views it as income and that's why you can't come back. Not a Citi rule.
